Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice that targets the body's deep connective tissues, especially the fascia.
Poses are held for several minutes, with props such as bolsters, blocks, and blankets used to support the body and encourage deep relaxation.
Restorative Yoga focuses on calming the nervous system and releasing tension. With the help of props, the body is fully supported to allow for complete rest and renewal.
A 90-minute Yin & Restorative Yoga session is held once a month on a Sunday in my studio.
